I am kicking off the summer with my first review. The My Life As Snorkel Playset was $7.92 at Walmart. In my opinion, it is a great value for how many pieces you get.
The snorkel piece is very realistic. I really like how there is a piece over the doll's nose.(Just like a real snorkel)
It fits very well on Leah. I did have trouble putting the snorkel on the goggles at first, but I eventually figured it out.
The fins look really cool too. They have the same color scheme as the goggles, so they match. The fins fit snugly on an american girl doll, but I don't know how they would fit on a Our Generation doll or a My Life doll.
This set came with 3 detailed seashells. I think they are a great addition to the set.
I think this red coral is very realistic because it has many layers. I wish this set came with more than one of this piece, though.
The sea anemones are not my favorite piece in this set. In my opinion, it looks very 2 dimensional. I would be fine if there was only one sea anemone in the set, but it included 3.
This set came with 3 plastic gems: clear, green and red. I really liked this piece because I can use it in many settings, not just scuba diving.
This set comes with 5 gold coins. They all are 2 sided: One side with a crown in a heart, the other side with a capital I in a heart.
The Treasure chest is super cute! It is very detailed, although, it is very small. It is so small that I can't fit the gems inside. I can fit the coins in, but it still is very hard. The coins you see in the 2nd picture are attached to the chest. I kind of wish you could remove them.
I like that this set comes with a mesh sinch sack, so you can store all of the little pieces.
