Here is a link to part one, in case you missed it. A Pet Sitting Miracle; Part One
I walk into Amy's Pet Daycare, a small building in Downtown Dollville. It has faded wallpaper, and an old tile floor.
"Hi! You must be Leah." The nice woman at the desk says.
"Yup! That's me!" I smile.
"I'm Amy." She says.
"I really liked your application. You really seem to like animals!"
"Thanks! So what do I need to do for the actual interview?" I ask.
"I was thinking, I would supervise you working for the day. Then I'll decide if you'll get the job or not." I am surprised. I thought I would have to do a job interview.
"The pets play in that area over there. Every morning you have to dump out the toy bucket." She grabs a huge basket from under her desk and dumps it out.
"Hey, Ellie! What are you doing here?" I ask.
"I came to say hi! and, to drop off ol' Scooter here. He'll probably just sleep the whole day, knowing him!" Maryellen scratches scooter's ears.
"Well, thanks!" I say as she walks out the door.
The lady from the beach stand walks in with her dog.
"Not you again!" she yells. I let out a nervous laugh.
"I guess I owe you two dollars?"
"You guess? You're even lucky I gave you that juice. I should've just ignored you!"
"Is something wrong?" Amy looks up from her computer.
"No, everything's fine!" The beach stand lady says sarcastically as she leaves.
"What was that about?!" Amy looks concerned.
"You don't want to know." I reply
One more costumer comes in with a huskey, and a parrot.
"This is Pepper, my dog, and Pirate, my parrot." She tells me.
"Do NOT ever let him out of his cage unless supervised! He will steal random items and hoard them in his cage." I laugh.
"Sure, and thanks!" I reply.
"Well, that's the last customer!" Amy says.
"Now comes the real work. You can just watch the pets, and I'll do the paperwork."
"Sounds like a plan!"
I play with the pets for a couple hours, but then Amy's phone rings.
Two Days Later...
I walk into Amy's Pet Daycare, a small building in Downtown Dollville. It has faded wallpaper, and an old tile floor.

"The pets play in that area over there. Every morning you have to dump out the toy bucket." She grabs a huge basket from under her desk and dumps it out.
"You will just watch the pets, and make sure they don't kill each other," Amy smiles. I giggled at her joke.
"While I check in the owners, and deal with paperwork." She motiones to her desk.
"Who's this little cutie?" I ask, referring to a cute golden doodle in the daycamp.
"This is my dog, Honey." Amy affectionately scratches her ears. The door bell rings.
It's our first customer, a nice lady with two cats named Bailey and Margie.
They are obviously exited to be here. The doorbell rang again.
This time, it is a girl named Emily with a cute bunny named Nutmeg Dash. The bell rings again.
Kendra comes in with her two puppies, Popcorn and Bennett.
Then, Ellie comes in with her dachshund, Scooter.
"Hey, Ellie! What are you doing here?" I ask.
"I came to say hi! and, to drop off ol' Scooter here. He'll probably just sleep the whole day, knowing him!" Maryellen scratches scooter's ears.

"Hello . . .yes . . . OH NO! . . . yes . . . I'll come right away. Leah, I know this is your first day, but I need to go to the school. My daughter broke her arm at recess."
"Oh no!!!" I cry
"You'll be on your own. I gotta go!" and with that, Amy leaves.
I put Pirate back in his cage, but forget to close the door.
I go over to Amy's computer to finish her paperwork. If she knows I did her paperwork, I will surely get the job! I think. When I got done, though, it looks like the play area had exploded.

This is fun!! Good job.
